Payday Planner is operated by Stoneleaf Software. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
We collect the information you voluntarily enter into the app, including account balances, bill names, income sources, loan details, investment values, and savings goals. We also collect your email address when you create an account.
Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a cloud database platform. All data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS and encrypted at rest on the server. Row-level security ensures your data is only ever accessible by your own account — no other user can see your information. You can also turn on optional two-factor authentication (a 6-digit code from an authenticator app) in the app under Setup → Security.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal financial data with any third parties. We do not use your financial data for advertising purposes.
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our website and apps, for example which pages are visited and roughly where visitors come from. Google Analytics collects usage information such as pages viewed, device and browser type, and approximate location, using cookies. It does not receive the financial data or list items you enter in our apps. You can opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
Our apps (Payday Planner and Before You Go) do not show ads. Some pages of our website, such as blog articles, may display advertisements provided by Google AdSense. Google may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites on the internet. Your financial data and the information you enter in our apps are never shared with advertisers. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google's Ads Settings at google.com/settings/ads.
We use cookies and similar browser storage to keep you signed in to your account, for Google Analytics (to understand how our website and apps are used), and, on website pages that show ads, for Google AdSense ad delivery. We do not use cookies to sell your data.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time.
To request deletion of your account and all associated financial data, please email us at daniel@stoneleafsoftware.com. We will process your request within 30 days.
Payday Planner is intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18 years of age.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
